iKANN Digital Knowledge Hub

The IANE-iKANN Knowledge Hub

A collation of knowledge resources, commentary, guidance and interactive sections for global nutrition workforce capacity building.

The International Academy of Nutrition Educators (IANE), in partnership with its official journal, BMJ Nutrition, Prevention & Health, has created 13 Special Collections to showcase some of the most innovative research in nutrition and lifestyle factors. These collections are featured on the BMJ NPH website and are themes of the Independent Research Registry for Food, Nutrition and Health portal.

Each collection is supported by a Special Interest Group (SIG) and includes Live Syntheses of Evidence, where members can engage in discussions via Discussion Boards on the IANE portal and participate in regular group meetings. All IANE members are welcome to join multiple Special Interest Groups, contribute to the Discussion Boards, and take part in ongoing discussions and collaborations.

As the Digital Knowledge Hub of IANE, iKANN (International Knowledge Application Network hub in Nutrition) seeks to connect the knowledge generated from these initiatives for international use through an online portal that encourages regional adaptations and facilitates learning. It promotes translatable information globally, drives the implementation of knowledge into policy and practice, and helps bridge the gap between agricultural nutrition and human nutrition.
