The International Academy of Nutrition Educators (IANE) is a globally recognised virtual membership academy dedicated to advancing the field of nutrition education and research. Our mission is to provide professionals and organisations with the resources and support they need to develop and deliver high-quality nutrition education programmes, while also evaluating their impact on healthcare practices.

Member Voices

As a researcher working at the intersection of nutrition-sensitive food systems, sustainable agriculture, and value chains, I believe IANE provides a unique platform for professionals who want to bridge the gap between food production, nutrition, and health outcomes.

Through its global network, IANE connects experts from diverse disciplines, fostering collaboration, knowledge exchange, and innovation in nutrition education. For those committed to building healthier and more sustainable food systems, IANE provides a supportive community where ideas can be translated into meaningful action.

By joining IANE, members can expand their professional networks, contribute to advancing nutrition education, and help shape food system approaches that improve both human and planetary health. I would highly recommend IANE to anyone passionate about creating lasting impact through nutrition, agriculture, and sustainable development.

MIANE & FMP Member

Bern University of Applied Sciences

First of all, the IANE showcases its core values, key initiatives, and original research activities, translating them into practice.

Moreover, it connects nutrition educators from clinical and non-clinical settings. Furthermore, it enables them to network, interact, and promote their research work and results through the iKANN registry and BMJ Nutrition, which helps expand connections and cooperations with interdisciplinary professionals worldwide.

The virtual learning environment provides an essential platform for modern, engaging online continuing education, offering many benefits beyond earning CPD credits.

Finally, it helped me present my work and receive valued feedback from peer reviewers, which strengthened my existing projects' objectives toward achieving a greater impact. It also helped me identify potential gaps and elaborate solutions.
