Mentoring sessions

Bespoke one to one mentoring sessions in Nutrition Research and Education, provided by our faculty and mentors panel members. All members have access to one session per membership year. If you would like to have additional sessions, you may purchase them at a discounted fee.



LIVE Webinars and Journal ClubS

Free access to regular live webinars and journal clubs with the participation of NNEdPro members from all over the globe who are experts in Nutrition and Public Health plus free access to all previously recorded webinars and journal clubs available on demand. Approved by the Royal Society of Biology for purposes of CPD, IANE webinars may be counted as 9 CPD credits.

MEMBERSHIP CATEGORIES

Monash Food as Medicine pathway graduates, SNEB members, NNEdPro members, BMJ Nutrition, Prevention and Health authors as well as individuals from Member Organisations can avail 50% discount on IANE membership rates. Discounts of 50% are also available to those who are from a low- or middle-income country, retired or unemployed. You can check out the eligibility criteria here.


BECOME A MEMBER

Student Member

Regular Rate: £30 per year

Must meet at least one of the following requirements:​


  • Enrolled in a bachelors/graduate degree of more than six months duration from an accredited institution

  • Enrolled in a professional diplomate or recognised vocational qualification of more than six months duration

  • 1 one to one mentoring sessions per year

Affiliate Member

Regular Rate: £60 per year

Must meet at least one of the following requirements:​


  • Has a degree or equivalent vocational qualifications in any field
  • Demonstrates a sustained interest in supporting the field of Nutrition Education and related areas in health as well as research


Membership benefits:


  • 1 one to one mentoring sessions per year

    Associate Member

    Regular Rate: £60 per year

    Must meet at least one of the following requirements: ​

    • A bachelors/graduate degree from a higher education institution in a relevant field and demonstrated consistent interest (e.g. community or volunteer work, participating in projects etc) in nutrition and health-related education and/or associated research/practice

    • A professional diplomate or recognised vocational qualification with two or more years of experience in nutrition and health-related education and/or associated research/practice

    • Successful candidates completing the NNEdPro Foundation Certificate in Applied Human Nutrition​

    • Successful candidates completing the Monash University Food as Medicine pathway


    Membership benefits:


    • 1 one to one mentoring sessions per year

    Professional Member

    Regular Rate: £90 per year

    Must meet at least one of the following requirements: ​

    • A bachelors/graduate degree from a higher education institution in a relevant field and demonstrated a consistent interest in nutrition and health-related education and/or associated research/practice

    • A professional diplomate or recognised vocational qualification with three or more years of substantive professional experience in nutrition and health-related education and/or associated research/practice

     

    And must meet the following requirement:

    • Additional experience of at least three years in nutrition and health-related education and/or associated research/practice

      • 1 one to one mentoring sessions per year
      • Potential invitations to contribute to the Faculty and Mentors Panel
      • Use of Post-Nominals 'MIANE' (Member of the International Academy of Nutrition Educators) as a marker of professional recognition

        The IANE Fellowship and Honorary Fellowship constitute the highest forms of professional distinction conferred on senior individuals who continue to have sustained impact in the field.

        IANE FELLOWS

        Special category by invitation only​

        Must meet at least one of the following requirements: ​

        • Seniority and outstanding service to their health-related profession, as a leader, role model or mentor

        • Impact in and outstanding contribution to the promotion of nutrition education

        • Recognised as an expert in field/s of nutrition

        • Attributes of an advanced practitioner

        • Actively participated in the work of NNEdPro/IANE

        • Has been a member of the NNEdPro/IANE for the five years prior to nomination


          Membership benefits:


          • Conditional fee waiver dependent on inclusion and contribution to the Faculty and Mentors Panel
          • Use of Post-Nominals 'FIANE' (Fellow of the International Academy of Nutrition Educators) as a marker of professional distinction

          Winners of the IANE Outstanding Achievement Award

          Must meet at least one of the following requirements: ​

          • Recognised as an expert in field/s of nutrition

          • Attributes of an advanced practitioner
