What Is IANE Endorsement?

IANE endorsement provides independent recognition that a learning activity has been reviewed against defined standards relating to scientific quality, educational design and relevance to professional practice.

It helps training providers demonstrate credibility, strengthen participant confidence and distinguish their offering in a competitive learning environment.

Endorsement recognises activities that demonstrate:

  • Clear educational purpose and intended learning outcomes
  • Relevance to nutrition, food, health or related interdisciplinary practice
  • Evidence-informed content, presented accurately and responsibly
  • Appropriate faculty with relevant expertise
CPD and learner certificates

How Endorsement Relates to CPD

IANE endorsement recognises the quality and educational value of a learning activity. It does not in itself constitute professional registration, statutory accreditation or automatic award of CPD credits by external regulatory bodies.

Providers of endorsed activities should issue participants with a certificate of attendance or completion stating the title, date and total learning hours. Participants may use this as evidence in their own CPD records where accepted by their professional body, employer or local regulatory framework.

Who Can Apply?

Universities, healthcare organisations, charities, professional bodies, commercial training providers and conference organisers, worldwide. Applications are welcome from any organisation delivering educational activities relevant to nutrition education and professional practice.
